You generally cannot access super in full until you reach preservation age and permanently retire from the workforce. Before making any decision, please read your CSS Product Disclosure Statement and speak to a qualified financial advisor.
Depending on how you leave CSS, you may take your benefit as a:
- CPI-indexed pension and lump sum or
- combination of a CPI-indexed pension, non-indexed pension and lump sum or
- combination of a CPI-indexed pension and non-indexed pension.
Any accrued surcharge debt you have is recovered when your benefit is paid.
