The trustees manage the CSS and invest in the funds in accordance with the law and relevant regulatory requirements. All trustees are appointed in writing by the Minister for Finance and Deregulation.
ARIA and individual trustees are covered by indemnity insurance to protect themselves and the CSS from losses arising from certain claims against them. To date, there has never been a claim against ARIA or a trustee that has resulted in the loss of members’ monies, nor have any regulatory penalties been imposed.
