You can keep an eye on how our Default fund and Cash Investment Option are performing by checking out our monthly update - just visit the CSS investment performance page.
During 2010, ARIA remained focused on achieving our two strategic objectives – consistently superior investment performance, and providing our members with information and advice to help them make the right superannuation decisions. Continuing volatility has been the dominant trend in financial markets throughout 2010. However our investment returns remain competitive in difficult global market conditions. This year, we've greatly improved the processing times for benefit payments and the provision of information to members; we'll be working closely with our administrator to further enhance our services over the next 12 months. My best wishes to you and your family for a safe and happy holiday season. Peter Carrigy-Ryan Need to contact us over the holidays? Our contact centre will be open on all business days over the holiday season. If you have any questions, you can call us on 1300 000 277 between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Switching investments in December? If you are considering switching investment choices this month, please send your request to us as soon as possible. The cutoff to receive switch forms is the last Friday of the month, so we need to receive switch forms by close of business 31 December 2010. Remember, to factor in public holiday post office closures if you're mailing your form. Benefit processing over Christmas We'll be processing pension benefit payments until close of business on 16 December 2010. Pension claims processed by this date will be paid on pension payday 30 December 2010. We'll be processing cash lump sum payments right through the Christmas period. If your payment needs a manual calculation, processing may take two to four weeks. Our At Work for You team has had another busy year presenting public and in-house workshops all around Australia. The team will continue their great work next year so check out the 2011 public workshop schedule in January. If you'd like to learn more about your super, ask your HR department to organise a workshop – just call 02 6263 6999 for more information. |
